Rachel is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. She obtained a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida.
Rachel has professional experience in intensive out-patient group counseling, inpatient counseling, individual counseling, group counseling, rehabilitation counseling, and substance use counseling.
Rachel uses a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy approach in her therapy services. This will encourage clients to address and confront thoughts and behavior that are limiting the change they are hoping to implement in their lives. CBT is one of the most well-known and utilized forms of counseling, and often yields positive results to those looking to make positive change. It is also well suited for those looking to combat symptoms of mood and anxiety disorders.
Rachel is passionate about helping clients meet the goals they set for themselves. She is dedicated to aiding clients in putting their all into their mental wellness. Rachel looks forward to assisting prospective clients in embracing their empowerment in order to implement positive change.
